Devin  and her horse, Angel's Wish had a busy 2014 and are looking forward to 2015. She began taking dressage lessons with Jane Weatherwax, a FEI level judge in May. She competed at Sue Curry's Fairwinds Farm Dressage Show in July 19th and 20th 20 showing USDF Intro Tests A & B, and C and Training Level Test 1. She won her classes with scores in the 60's.

Devin has owned Angel Since February, 2012. Angel is a beautiful grey Half-Arabian mare. Devin competed with her in a Class A Arabian competitions at Red Bluff and Watsonville with Patti Belanger. She wanted to try dressage because it is more economical to show and, there are many shows in the area and they are generally one day. Dressage is also more structured in that you are showing against a criteria and score on how well you are able to do the test exercises. After your competition you get the tests and can tell how well you scored on the exercise and what you and your horse need to work on. AHA has a program that allows Arabian owners to show in open shows and get points towards Regional competitions. It is Devin's goal to compete with Angel at the Sport Horse Nationals in 2016. This next year is going to be very busy! All the best to Devin and Angel.
